Sugar Land, TX: It is February 2016, the month that has Valentine’s Day, the American Heart Association awareness, and Presidents Day among other holidays. People tend to think of love and caring, which are two important pieces of the KW Southwest culture! To honor the company, Keller Williams, the KW Southwest Market Center recognizes two of the hard-working, top-performing husband and wife teams who call KW Southwest family.

The Diaz Team (http://SoldbyDiaz.com ?), Ernest and Valerie, are straight-forward, experienced realtors who love their work and have a ?passion to place a "Texas size" smile on their client's face.  Their motto is "There is no substitute for Experience”.

Prior to joining the KW office, Ernest and Valerie attended the annual KW Family Reunion where they realized that any company sharing a wealth ?of information with guests at an annual conference, must provide even more for agents who are already a part of the KW family. 

?Valerie had been in real estate for 10 years prior to joining the KW Southwest team in 2011. She credits Andi St. Jean for working with her patiently until she made the decision to join the company. Ernest, Valerie’s husband and the second member of The Diaz Team?, joined forces with Valerie when they were expecting their second child in 2010.  He joined the KW Southwest team in 2011. Their team has now grown to a 4 members and they continue to provide exceptional service to their clients and attribute their continuing success in the business to partnering with the KW Southwest organization.

The second team selected to represent the “Power Couples” of KW Southwest is the Burgess Team—Mark and Helen Burgess. After working for an advertising agency for 23 years and experiencing the changes of moving to a digital world, Mark wanted to do something that would bring happiness to the client and Helen suggested that helping people find a home, possibly the home of their dreams, might be the perfect career move. Mark joined KW Southwest in 2012 and knew immediately it was the right decision. The brief version, according to Mark, is “A leukemia patient who jumped into the real estate business with both feet and immediately had to have heart surgery. He then recoups and regroups for his second year and mid-season, had lung surgery.” At this point, Helen decided to join him…just in case. Helen joined the Burgess Team in November of 2015. When asked about his story, Mark replied, “My concerns and worries are quelled, knowing that God's got this."
